The course itself

Have you ever wondered what to do if your child becomes friends with a client? Or if you meet a great guy and it turns out that he's the estranged parent of a youth you serve? We're here to talk about it!

This 2-hour play therapy ethics training focuses on how to think through ethical dilemmas in play therapy practice by applying a structured ethical decision-making model to case examples specific to play therapy, including multiple roles and custody-related pressures.

Effective October 1, Washington State added a new continuing education requirement focused on professional roles and boundaries. This workshop meets that requirement while centering the ethical realities of clinicians practicing play therapy with children and families.
