The course itself

Unique format! We start with a live recording of Aces Up Your Sleeve where we answered a listener question about fatphobia, anti-fatness, and healthism (as it intersects with parenting) and then moved into a presentation with the live therapist audience! You'll hear real examples of how we discuss these topics in parent & guardian sessions, with clients, and more.

In 90 minutes, we'll cover:
  • Where fatphobia and healthism stems from
  • How it impacts fat individuals
  • Common phrasing for discussing it with clients
  • Our favorite resources for clients (and therapists)
  • And so much more!

✨ Special focus given to autistic clients.

Bonus content includes:
📘 1 page PDF handout with resources
